The “Go with the Flow†tool is designed to allow users to quickly iterate and explore patterns of movement of fluids in the subsoil through a user-friendly interface. Inspired by submissions from the winners of the Xeek Data Science Challenge, the “Go with the Flow†model has been enhanced and transformed into a product now available on the market in beta.
The tool allows users to download the seismic volume as a SEGY file, then select parameters for how they think fluids would behave miles below the Earth’s surface. Within minutes, the tool displays a gif of how agents accumulate in the seismic, allowing geoscientists to imagine how fluids such as hydrocarbons, water, and CO2 would migrate and be trapped in the sub. -ground.
