Reebok is back with a new sneaker project, this time tapping into Brooklyn-based creative design collective LQQK Studio to deliver a fresh set of its iconic silhouette in classic leather.
Here are two iterations of the LQQK Studio x Reebok Classic Leather, which is the first-ever collaboration between the sportswear brand and the collective. According to Reebok, LQQK Studio reflected on its deep roots in street culture, art, and fashion for this project, which resulted in two camouflage-covered colorways called “Bubble Gum” and “Green Camo.” Trainers also feature LQQK Studio branding to tongue, side panel. and heel tab.
“Reebok is a classic brand that holds a special place in the hearts of many people,” said Alex Dondero, Founder of LQQK Studio. “I think streetwear works in a fun way that creates a uniform that people subconsciously fall into, so it’s important to constantly evolve, and Reebok is ready to embrace that. When we designed this shoe, we wanted that a printed pattern is the main focus.
Both iterations of the LQQK Studio x Reebok Classic Leather collaboration will be released this Friday, September 16 exclusively on Lqqkstudio.com, followed by a worldwide release of the “Green Camo” colorway on September 21 on Reebok.com and select Reebok. retailers. The sneakers will cost $120 each.
