Music Changing Lives (MCL) will host their 5th annual “Ball 4 A Cause,” a celebrity basketball game to support their music and arts program for young people while reaching out to thousands of communities rallying nationwide for Lights On Afterschool. The game will be played at the Redlands Community Center, located at 111 W. Lugonia Ave., Redlands, on Saturday, October 30, from 11 am to 3 pm.

The tournament will feature a spectacular half-time show with live performances that will keep you at the edge of your seats, special guests, studio tours, raffles and activities for the whole family. Red carpet festivities run from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and guests are encouraged to arrive early.

Lights On Afterschool is the only national event celebrating after-school programs and calls attention to the importance of after-school programs and the resources needed to keep the lights on and the doors open, especially as programs like MCL ramp up. to help students, families and communities in the pandemic. Music Changing Lives is a partner of Lights On Afterschool and dedicates its Ball 4 A Cause event to this national celebration of after-school programs.
