Artistic Director Dan Medland will work with Nettwerk Music Group to expand its business in Australia and New Zealand. He will be responsible for driving strategies in both markets for national and global artists.
Additionally, he will contribute to Nettwerk’s A&R team and signing efforts.
Medland first worked alongside Nettwerk as artistic director of Passenger (AKA Mike Rosenberg). He will continue in this role, as well as continuing to work alongside digital services and labels agency Come With Fries.
Over the years Nettwerk Records has worked with Xavier Rudd, Angus & Julia Stone, John Butler Trio, Boy & Bear, Jack River and Jaguar Jonze.
Nettwerk President and COO Simon Mortimer-Lamb said Medland’s many successes and unique experiences in Australia and New Zealand made him a great addition to the team.
