‘The Bachelorette’ returns to ABC with an all-new episode on Tuesday, July 18, 2022, and we have our first group date of the season. In this season of “The Bachelorette”, there are two bachelors. It’s twice as difficult and twice as fun! One of the participants said it well: the two women were destined to love the same guy after all. There would be tension because of that. With men pursuing both women at the same time, there are already tensions. This experiment seemed doomed to failure. There are so many of them and the women haven’t even spoken to half of them.

But they’re going to fix that tonight. Everyone is trapped inside since it is raining outside. Our Bachelorettes are also disappointed because they had planned a pool party with the 29 men – half of whom have yet to meet – to get to know each other and see their “six-pack abs”. But don’t panic, the producers have imagined a completely regular indoor sport that will allow men to show off both their personality and their foolproof physique. Fans couldn’t help but point out the struggle the girls faced deciding how to put on a show where they can see their abs at the same time. One viewer tweeted: “Gabby and Rachel are trying to find a group date that will allow them to see the abs guys #TheBachelorette.”

Rachel and Gabby both headed home. They chatted with the boys and even dropped off gifts. Their “gifts” were men’s speedos. The girls wanted the boys to wear them, so they could see what they looked like without clothes. Yes, it’s time for the Man Pageant! The boys have half an hour to change into their banana hammocks and create a “talent” for Rachel and Gabby to play. Not surprisingly, many men use this time to practice push-ups and pull-ups to look their best before the event. Ryan gets ready by slipping a sock inside his speedo, while other guys use what looks like olive oil to make their pecs nice and shiny. After getting dressed, the men gather in the living room, where the Bachelorettes are seated, clipboards in hand, ready to judge them. Jesse Palmer reminds the guys that the Man Pageant winner could hang out with Rachel and Gabby in the Bachelorette Pad.

Some speedos were too small. The women saw it all, while the home audience just saw a black bar in that area. Sigh. The singles’ reactions were the only indication viewers at home knew what each guy looked like in a skimpy speedo. Gabby let out a happy cry when she saw Logan in his speedo.

It was hard for the girls to ask the guys questions. They needed time to absorb everything they saw before asking questions, and by the time they did, some had already made a good impression. Rachel describes the group date as a bachelorette-style beauty contest, with the winner receiving intimate time with the singles later, so there’s a lot at stake for the guys. Logan describes himself as stubborn, honest, and kind when asked how his exes would describe him. Rachel admits she had her sights set on him since the first night, and the group’s date was no exception. Quincey looked great in her Borat-themed speedo. Both of her buttocks were exposed, just like a little bend on stage. The ladies were delighted to see it in all its magnificence.

Not so much for the people behind him. There was also Jacob. In his speedo he looked like Tarzan and he showed off his mortgage brokering abilities. Which surely conquered Rachel. When Chris started singing, it helped him stand out even more. The girls were hoping for some creativity from the boys as well as the fun they could have while showing off their talent. They both acknowledged that personality was key as they had both done the show before.

Chris, who believes he got the invite to the private party, but when the date card arrives that night, his name is not on it. Colin, Johnny, Jason, Brandan, Logan, and Aven meet the Bachelorettes for dinner. Fans weren’t impressed with the show the men put on, however. Besides that the men were objectified on screen for a good 5-7 minutes, the fans were disappointed with the budget set for the band’s date because it was the saga of the men and their speedos! One fan tweeted, “Wasn’t there a budget for the first group date? Looks like the only thing they spent money on was mimosa supplies and speedos? #TheBachelorette .”
