the foo fighters really hold nothing back from this gruesome new trailer for their movie Workshop 666. Released on Friday, the trailer opens with the lead singer Dave Grohl and the rest of the band are getting fans ready for a truly unfiltered red band trailer. Viewers know that trailers for red stripes are usually uncensored because they promote R-rated movies and contain more violence, swearing, and emotionally charged scenes than trailers shown for all public.

Workshop 666 features the band ready to make a killer record. They’re unprepared for how literal it will turn out when one of their own is possessed by a downright evil demon. Set in a haunted mansion in Encino, California, Grohl is on a mission to kill his bandmates with some really mean weapons. Chainsaws and grills, this demon can’t be stopped. “Your music is welcome.” Grohl’s comments before beheading drummer Taylor Hawkins with a drum cymbal.

COLLIDER VIDEO OF THE DAY

The Foo Fighters pack the one-minute, 30-second trailer full of gore and humor. As any fan would expect, Grohl’s possession scene is full of him yelling swear words while his guts are taken out by dark figures. Interspersed with the violence are loads of killer puns and a rocking soundtrack. In true Foo Fighter fashion, nothing is held back and absolutely no one is safe with Grohl on the hunt.

RELATED: Dave Grohl Is Possessed in New ‘Studio 666’ TrailerWorkshop 666 will be the band’s tenth studio album along with their first feature film. The film is set in the same mansion where the band recorded the album, which Grohl is convinced is haunted. In an interview with NME, the inspiration for the film came after the band noticed frequent interference with their recording software, with tracks being added and deleted haphazardly, and guitars going out of tune overnight. “There were pieces that were put out there that we didn’t put out there.” Grohl said, “But just like the weird open mic noises. Nobody plays an instrument or anything like that, just an open mic recording a room. And we didn’t hear any voices or anything really decipherable. But something was happening.

Although inspired by the ghostly presence during the recording, the film pays homage to the horror comedies of the 80s and 90s. Workshop 666 is led by BJ McDonnell and band stars Grohl, Hawkins, Nate Mendel, pat smear, Chris Shifletand Rami Jaffee. The other distribution includes Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, Leslie Grosmanand Jeff Garlin. The Foo Fighters are serving as executive producers for the feature with Wes Hagan, James Masciello, Tom Ortenberg, Matthew Sidari, John Silva, Gaby Skolnek, Kristen Welshand Michael Zhang.

Workshop 666 hits theaters on February 25. You can check out the killer red band trailer below:

American indie rock musician Kurt Vile returns with his first new music since 2018’s “Bottle It In”.

“Like Exploding Stones” is an epic seven-minute ride of psycho-laden indie grooves and scintillating post-punk aesthetics, with Vile crafting a fuzz-rich soundscape that’s the first taste of his new studio album “Watch My Moves” which is scheduled for April.

The songwriter self-produced ‘Watch My Moves’ with longtime collaborator Rob Schnapf (Richard Thompson, Elliott Smith) recording at Kurt’s new home studio, OKV Central, in Philadelphia’s Mount Airy neighborhood.

“When Waylon Jennings became an outlaw country artist, he loved recording at Hillbilly Central, which was Tompall Glaser’s studio,” Vile explains.

“OKV Central is my Mount Airy version of that. I’ve established myself here, and at the same time, I’m going back to my recording roots back home.”

Alongside Schnapf, the record also features longtime Vile band The Violators and James Stewart, plus special contributions from Chastity Belt, Cate Le Bon and percussionists Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Courtney Barnett) and Sarah Jones ( Hot Chip, Harry Styles).

The album features 15 songs, including a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s early ’80s studio release, “Wages Of Sin.”

“It’s about writing songs. It’s about lyrics. It’s about being the master of all areas of music,” Vile said, describing “Watch My Moves.”

“I always think upbeat music, even if it’s fried or sizzling. It’s my own version of a classic thing – it moves forward and backward at the same time.”

The release of “Watch My Moves” is scheduled for April 15, 2022. Pre-order it.

After considerable anticipation due to pandemic limitations, multi-platinum metalcore has become an alternative metal outfit avenged sevenfold were recently able to enter the studio with a 78-piece orchestra. These sessions were one of the major stumbling blocks the band had faced in advancing the recording process for their eighth studio album.

Frontman M. Shadows told Metal Hammer last month that the majority of the upcoming full effort had already been recorded for a year, but they were waiting for restrictions to be lifted to allow them to record the orchestral parts in a non-remote frame. According to the group’s social networks, these sessions took place on Tuesday, February 8.

The band’s drummer, Brooks Wackermn, recently took to Instagram to offer the following:

We-avenged sevenfold– started writing this record 4 years ago and I can’t believe we’re 90% done… One of the benefits – in the creative process – is that we’re able to follow an orchestra of 78 musicians on our records. The fact that we are able to bring together amazing musicians to improve our craft still gives me chills. I can’t wait for the world to hear this. and good night!

Shadows have previously said they intend to complete tracking the album this month, with mixing slated to begin in March.

German thrash metal veterans Destruction are celebrating their 40th anniversary by setting the world ablaze with a new hard-hitting grenade in the form of their new album, Diabolical, out April 8 via Napalm Records.

Destruction posted the new video below, saying, “We made a little clip with some impressions from the recording session for the new album at Little Creek Studio in Switzerland for you guys!”

Singer/bassist Schmier on the recording of Diabolical: “It was the most fun we’ve had working on a record in a very long time and it shows. Yeah. It was theoretically a difficult album but we didn’t think not that way while we recorded. We just followed our emotions, stuck and shook with strong intuition! This recording was like therapy for me, we all know how hard times are right now. I’m so super happy with how it all turned out!”

Guitar shredder Damir adds: “It was a real honor for me to record this album. The studio work for Diabolical was very spontaneous and we had a lot of fun creating these dynamic, multifaceted and brutal yet diverse songs. J loved every second of working on this record!“

The new single and video, “No Faith in Humanity”, will be released at the end of February.

As one of the most legendary German thrash metal bands in existence, Destruction graces the wall of fame alongside giants like Kreator, Sodom and Tankard. The grand finale of the 47-minute parade of devastation is provided by the cover version “City Baby Attacked By Rats”, originally by GBH, guaranteeing a boost by combining raw hardcore punk with raw thrash metal.

Destruction riff killer Furia about the new record: “Diabolical is an album of extremes, everything is more brutal and more technical but at the same time more melodic and relevant. It’s a pure and devastating Destruction album without gimmicks, full of power and adrenaline. I’m excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to play the new songs live!

JOE SATRIANI kick off the new year with a brand new album. Release scheduled for April 8, 2022, The Elephants of March marks the legendary guitarist’s 19th studio album in his more than 35-year career in music. This album also marks the start of his new label partnership with earMUSIC, the international rock label of entertainment group Edel. Pre-orders are available now and include a special digi-pack limited CD release featuring seven double-sided cards of original Satriani artwork depicting each song from the album. Additionally, several colored vinyl options will also be available for pre-order, including orange, pink, and a special purple version sold only through Guitar Center.

Joe Satriani had an admirably productive working vacation, with a pandemic forced off the road, which ultimately gave him and his touring band all recording remotely in separate parts of the world. during lockdown, the ability to deliver an album-length journey that never gets boring. The Elephants of Mars crackle with exciting new energy, traveling fast through stylistic routes that feel freshly updated when seen through new eyes.

The guitarist challenged himself to create a “new standard” for instrumental guitar albums, one that would operate from a “new platform of his own design”, as he calls it. “I want to show people that an instrumental guitar album can contain a lot more creative and entertaining elements than what I think people are using right now.”

From the gripping sci-fi madness of “Through A Mother’s Day Darkly,” to the isolation felt in a decaying cityscape, as exemplified by debut single “Sahara,” to the general endorphin levels that peak when elephants finally roar in the title track, The Elephants of Mars will rush through your mind, leaving a sonic imprint that won’t fade.

In 2020, with all time constraints removed, The Elephants of Mars truly represents the album Satriani himself hoped he could deliver with his band. “We have done everything. We tried the craziest ideas. And we entertained all the ideas we had about flipping something upside down, seeing what might happen.

With this new album, Satriani joins the eclectic and exciting list of earMUSIC. Managing Director Max Vaccaro said: “A few years ago we were fortunate enough to be Joe Satriani’s chosen label for the very lucky Chickenfoot project. It was impossible not to notice and admire the monstrous dedication, work ethic and talent in the recording studio and on stage. We knew, however, that he had the same “house” for his solo music for decades and that for him, being signed to a record label meant loyalty and belonging. It is with great joy and a sense of responsibility that now, a few years later, we welcome Joe to his first solo work with earMUSIC. We thank him for writing and recording very special music that will make many fans happy and we like to think this will be the first of many great albums to come.

For more than three decades, the guitar virtuoso has traveled the world, performing to sold-out crowds as both the headliner and founder of the all-star guitar extravaganza “G3.” . Satriani’s studio and live recordings have sold over 10 million copies worldwide to date and of his many solo albums, two have gone platinum and four others have gone gold, with 15 Grammy nominations between them. His side project, Chickenfoot, with former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar, former bassist Michael Anthony and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith saw its first album certified gold and its second studio album debuted at 9th place.

They hinted at a return in 2021 and now it’s officially confirmed – Paramore is back in the studio and working hard on his sixth studio album.

In a new interview with Rolling stonethe three members of the veteran pop-punk group – Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro – have revealed they are in the throes of recording their upcoming album (still untitled and no release date), their first for nearly five years after releasing their successful record in 2017, After the laugh.

In 2020, Williams hinted in a meeting that the band’s next album would revert to a guitar sound, which would lead many to believe the band would re-exploit the pop-punk and emo sounds and aesthetics of their heyday. Now, months after the registration process began, Williams tells Rolling stone that the album might not be the “emo record” many expect – although the guitar is still in the foreground.

“The music that initially excited us was not exactly the kind of music that we continued to make,” said Williams. RS. “Our production has always been everywhere and with this project, it’s not that different. We’re still in the thick of it but some things have stayed consistent from the start. 1) More emphasis on the guitar, and 2) Zac should go like Animal however he wants with drum takes.

That way, Williams added, you can expect an album that may still sound nostalgic but will sound fresh, and that will launch into new sonic territory for the band.

“We wrote and followed something that we liked and it actually surprised us,” Williams told RS about the band’s first studio session in years. “We kept joking, it was all downhill from that point on, but thank goodness we were really surprised throughout it all. I’m still waiting for the moment to let us know that we’re on to something new and not just rehashing the same shit. It was “Ain’t It Fun” for our self-titled album, and “Hard Times” or “Told You So” for After the laugh. It’s not so much about feeling like a hit, but more about a scary and exciting feeling of walking in uncharted waters. It keeps you curious. We had that feeling from the start this time around.

According to the group, they started the recording process in Nashville and have since moved to a studio in California, spending most of their time ordering PostMates, playing ping-pong and, in Williams’ case, trying to convince SZA to hang out with them in the studio. (Williams has covered several SZA songs in the past, including “Drew barrymore. ”)

“We walk into the studio around 10 am and leave around 7 or 8 pm like a bunch of dads,” Williams said. “I tried to get SZA to come hang out with us because I want to be real life friends, but we leave the studio to eat and sleep and she’s still fighting.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Williams reflected on Paramore’s future as a project her current members will always return to. While they may go their separate ways for years, going about their own business and, in Williams’ case, embarking on a successful solo journey, they will always find their way back to each other and to the music. “Paramore feels right at home,” said Williams.

Paramore’s latest album, After the laughmarked a new era of sound for the group with its synth-pop sound. The album was widely acclaimed, with critics noting the group’s growth and their honest writing about depression, anxiety, and the future. The record was the first album involving Farro since he left the band in 2010 and the first without ex-bassist Jeremy Davis.

“I have to switch between my Steps hat and my main hat, which can be very difficult and stressful at times.”

When Lisa is at her home in Dubai, she revealed that she works six days a week at school.

She said: “I focus on the day-to-day running of the school and the business side, while Johnny is the creative director and the lead teacher.”

From Celebrity Big Brother to showing off on TV and becoming the Queen of Weight Loss, Claire seems to have done it all.

The singer even opened for the Canadian superstar at British Summer Time in Hyde Park in 2019.

Sharing her excitement about performing at the event, she said: “She is one of my idols. […] and I’m a little bit conflicted because I really want to meet her but some people say never meet you idols. “

“But I’m not worried about that because I think she’s adorable,” she continued, telling Lorraine Kelly.

Claire appeared in Celebrity Big Brother’s 11th series in 2013 alongside Rylan Clark, who has since become the presenter of the Bit On The Side series.

The singer came in fourth on the show after Neighbors actor Ryan Moloney (3rd) and Heidi and Spencer (2nd), with audiences crowning Rylan the winner.

She got along with most of her roommates, but ran into Heidi and Spencer.

One momentous moment saw Heidi and Spencer’s refusal to join a task, with Claire not receiving a letter from her home.

Claire also appeared on Popstar’s second series at Operastar in 2011.

She has been described as possessing the vocal range of a soprano.

The singer came third behind Cheryl Baker (2nd) and Joe McElderry (1st).

She also made a musical comeback as a solo artist in 2019 when she released her first solo single, On My Own.

Claire, an avowed yoyo-dieter, has lost six pounds and now sports a size 10.

Her dress size has fluctuated between a size 20 and a size eight over the years, but now she has changed her diet in an effort to maintain her weight for good.

She previously told Fabulous, “I starved myself when I was in the band. I was told I was too big to be a pop star. I wasn’t – I was 19 and probably a size 12, if so.

“I had a petite waist and a big butt, which is the body shape everyone wants now.

“If I had known this when I was 18, I would have saved myself years of feeling so shitty.”
