Singer Britney Spears told her fans in a recent Instagram post that she would love to live in London.

However, it doesn’t look like she’s going to jump across the pond just yet. The “Circus” singer revealed that she was looking for a change of scenery and planned to sell her current home in Los Angeles. However, she might not go very far at all…

Britney Spears reveals she’s moving for the first time in seven years!

In the legendBritney wrote, “So this is the view from my bedroom…it’s quite spectacular 😍🌤!!!!”

However, she confessed that “I’ve lived in this house for 7 years and I’m in the process of buying a new house 🏡…it’s time for a change!!!!”

“I’ve been pretty modest about the house I live in now!!!!” she added. “I know you saw me dancing in my living room…. but honestly I have 3 living rooms 😂🤷🏼‍♀️😜!!!! Maybe one day I’ll give you guys a ride but in the meantime here’s the pink sky 💋💋💋!!!”

Brit said she was “in the process” of buying a house, which made it look like a done deal. However, it appears to still be on the market for a particular home…

Will Britney Spears Buy Drake’s House?

MEGA

On Monday, Drake put his lavish Hidden Hills estate on the market and witnesses told TMZ that they’ve seen plenty of celebrity buyers express interest – including Britney Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari.

While it’s unclear exactly what attracted Britney to the property, she does have her own private recording studio, which has fans wondering if Britney is ready to start recording new music now that freed from her suffocating 13-year-old guardianship.

Not only is she looking at Drake’s estate, but she’s also looking to reclaim the two neighboring properties, creating a set worth an estimated $22.2 million. The “YOLO Domain” contains six fireplaces, a wine cellar, a tasting room and a cinema room that can accommodate twenty-five people.

The bedroom suite has a partner spa with marble soaking tubs, but that’s not the most epic thing about the sky-high property. The property features a huge pool, swim-up bar, 80-foot-long rock slide, thermal grotto, and waterfalls. The property also includes a tennis court, a basketball court, a beach volleyball court, a stable and an equestrian arena. There is also a mechanical bull hiding somewhere inside the 12,500 square foot main house.

It’s unclear how many living rooms he has, but it’s surely more than enough to give Britney several new backdrops for her popular dance videos! Although fans are in love with Britney’s dance videos, they would love to see some new music too!

Britney Spears is teasing her fans with new music…or is she just “playing”?

In February, Britney uploaded a instagram video of herself dancing and strutting around in a red strappy outfit paired with black heels.

“It’s 13 seconds of me in heels 👠 before dyeing my hair purple 💜,” she wrote. Britney recently revealed her tinted purple locks just before vacationing in Maui with her fiancé, so it’s possible the video was filmed in January. Britney said she hated her purple hair and has since let the color revert to its original blonde.

“…. It’s a tease 😈 of what’s to come!!!!” she continued. “My song “Get Naked” 🎧!!!” “Get Naked” was a song from Britney’s “Blackout” album, which can be heard in the background of the video.

“I hope you have a nice day !!!!!” she added. Surely Brit must know that the announcement of new music has made many fans’ days a whole lot better! “Pss No hair and makeup 💄!!!” she added. “Just PLAY around people!!!!”

His latest comment caused a stir online. Was she just playing with her hair and makeup? Or was she joking about her new track? Fans will just have to wait and see!

He is a 38-year-old Bakersfield native, husband, father of four daughters, musician and sound engineer.

Brian Boozer is also the owner of Aum Studio Productions, a cozy but busy (and increasingly busy) recording studio in downtown Bakersfield.

In a world where the ready availability of do-it-yourself recording software has made home studios increasingly popular, one wonders if operating another commercial recording studio in a city like Bakersfield is a feasible option.

Let’s put it this way: last year was Aum’s busiest year so far, so busy that Boozer felt like he was crawling towards the finish line in December.

“We only had two bookable days last year that weren’t full,” he said. “All other bookable days were completely full throughout the year.

“I’m happy to say that the studio is now in full swing. We’re as busy as we can get.”

In the meantime, Aum has caught the attention of better known artists and major record labels.

“I would say 85% of my customer base is local to Bakersfield, but we’re starting to see more and more customers coming from LA or the Fresno area,” Boozer said.

Singer-songwriter Alice Howe, a Boston native who now lives in Los Angeles, is thrilled with what she experienced as a recording artist at Aum. She recorded her first full album there in 2019 – and while her second modern folk album was recorded at the legendary Fame Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, she and her collaborating producer and bassist, Freebo, decided they wanted the record mixed at Aum in Bakersfield.

It is due out later this year.

“It’s not a home studio,” Howe said of Aum. “But it’s starting to feel like home.”

Howe remembers planning a session at Aum and asking friends and fans—or assuming—that the sessions would take place in Los Angeles.

“I said, ‘No, I’m going to Bakersfield!'” she recalled with a laugh.

Freebo’s praise of Boozer’s work ethic, his “musician’s ear” and his diplomatic yet confident approach to artists in the studio seemed to be on par with Howe’s.

The multi-instrumentalist, composer, recording artist, singer and producer is perhaps best known for his work with the great Bonnie Raitt. But Freebo played bass on Maria Muldaur’s 1973 hit, “Midnight at the Oasis,” and worked with bluesmen like John Mayall, Ringo Starr, Crosby Stills & Nash, and many others.

“As far as I’m concerned, Brian is as good as anyone I’ve worked with,” Freebo said of the young engineer.

With such props, it’s perhaps no surprise that Aum is quickly becoming one of the hottest studios in the Central Valley.

“I feel like we’ve been lucky enough to work with just about every band and musician in town over the last few years,” Boozer said. And it was really exciting to see big names stopping too.

“Specifically, I’ve worked with Disney, Florida Georgia Line, Grammy-winning jazz singer Gregory Porter, rock ‘n’ roll legend George Thorogood, Sting, the Zac Brown Band, Patty LaBell, Don Was , Larry Kelin, Freebo…”

The list is long and growing.

“It’s exciting to see my name in the credits of some of these amazing albums and movies, some of which are sure to be Grammy hopefuls next year,” he said.

Monty Byrom, a Bakersfield-based singer-songwriter-guitarist-producer known for the success of his band Big House, his collaboration with Eddie Money and a myriad of other projects, has worked closely with Boozer for the past few years.

“I’ve been living here for practically a year,” Byrom said during a recording session at Aum last month.

“It’s simple. Brian is really good at what he does,” Byrom said.

Echoing Freebo, he said Aum is as good as any studio he’s recorded at, including facilities in Nashville, Austin and Los Angeles.

But the reasons for Aum’s rise remain complex and multifaceted.

Boozer’s personality is a big part of that, say those who know him. There’s a drive to be the best, but there’s also a sweetness to him that makes the creative process less threatening, less like you’re walking a knife’s edge.

“We had an amazing experience at Aum,” Howe said. “We love Brian so much we invited him to join us at Fame.”

The studio in Alabama is nothing short of legendary, having recorded artists such as Aretha Franklin, Little Richard, Wilson Pickett, Etta James, Otis Redding and many more.

For Boozer, it was like time travel.

During last month’s Aum session, there was a knock on the door during a break in the action. The old man at the door was a homeless man Boozer had spoken to before.

Despite his busy morning, Boozer didn’t chase the man away, but rather communicated with him for nearly 15 minutes, maintaining the man’s self-esteem, even as he waited for an opportunity to recover. at work.

“He was a local regular,” Boozer told the musicians after saying goodbye and closing the door.

“He’s a really lovely guy,” he said of the man. “But that’s the difficult situation I find myself in.”

Indeed, Boozer loves its downtown location, but it has struggled with the changes the neighborhood has been going through, like so many other businesses in the area.

Ironically, Boozer’s caring and gentle approach might be one of the secrets to his success.

Artists walk a tightrope when they create. They take risks. It’s part of the process. But Boozer’s technical prowess, his musical ear, his ability to communicate, even through creative disagreements, make the process more joyful and less stressful.

As a producer, Freebo said he worked with Howe and Boozer as a team.

“We brainstormed together to find the best way to support the singing,” he said.

And if all the elements come together, the end product can be beautiful, even profound.

And it all takes place in a small studio in Bakersfield.

The festival opens with the musical documentary “DiaTribe”, featuring Portland’s Obo Addy and MC Mic Crenshaw.

It’s the longest-running African film festival in the United States, and it’s Portland’s pride.

Presenting “Africa through African Lenses”, the Cascade Festival of African Films marks its 32nd annual festival with 30 films by African directors from nearly 20 countries.

It opens Feb. 4 with “DiaTribe” at the Hollywood Theater and continues through March 5 with screenings at Hollywood and Clinton Street theaters as well as online; last year it was held exclusively online. Previously, the event was held at Portland Community College-Cascade Campus.

Online films will be available on specific dates and can be viewed until the Wednesday following their release.

This year’s theme is Diaspora, celebrating people of African descent living around the world, including the United States.

There will be live interviews with filmmakers, community conversations and a virtual market associated with the festival.

“DiaTribe” (USA, 2020) is a concert documentary showcasing the evolving lineage between African dance traditions and the dance styles of today’s youth. Los Angeles-based filmmaker and poet AJ Wone joins late master drummer Obo Addy and Portland-based MC Mic Crenshaw to collaborate on a history of African music and dance going back to its traditional roots.

It takes place at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 4 at the Hollywood Theater, 4122 NE Sandy Blvd. Wone joins viewers in person for a post-movie chat.

“We felt that a film that not only connected the African continent to the diaspora, but also a film that uplifted and celebrated local artists in Portland, was exactly what we needed as we came together as a community,” said Tracy Francis, festival coordinator.

Said Wone: “The concept and mission of ‘DiaTribe’ is to serve as a pioneer, using rhythm and soul spirit in unveiling an impermeable foundation connecting the continent to North America.”

Other in-person events include the festival’s centerpiece weekend, with “Lingui, the Sacred Bonds” (Chad, 2021), by acclaimed Chadian director Mahamet Saleh Haroun, on Friday, February 18, at the Hollywood Theatre, as well as “Night of Kings” (Côte d’Ivoire, 2020) on Saturday, February 19 at the Clinton Street Theatre, 2522 SE Clinton St.

The closing film, “Min Alesh?” (Ethiopia, 2021), by up-and-coming director Amleset Muchie, will take place on Saturday, March 5 at the Clinton Theatre.

LOS ANGELES – ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus is launching a radio show on Apple Music, hoping to find out why his songs like “Mamma Mia” and “Dancing Queen” have stuck in the minds of so much of the world for so many decades.

The Swedish supergroup guitarist, vocalist and co-songwriter will host the “Björn from ABBA and Friends’ Radio Show” on Apple Music Hits starting Monday.

The limited series includes music and conversations with Ulvaeus’ friends and collaborators, starting with the first episode with fellow producer, songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Nile Rodgers.

Ulvaeus and Rodgers talk about the secrets of creating hits and why ABBA’s music has stuck in the public consciousness.

“I’ve long wanted to ask emotionally intelligent and intellectual people who know ABBA why they think our songs have lasted so long – almost 40 years – because I don’t understand it myself,” the 76-said Ulvaeus, a year.

The show comes in the midst of a major ABBA revival. Ulvaeus and bandmates Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson released their first new music together in four decades in November on the album “Voyager.” And in May, a series of live holographic shows are set to begin, created by George Lucas’ band and special effects company, Industrial Light & Magic.

Ulvaeus’ other guests on the radio show include Catherine Johnson, the British playwright who wrote the play “Mamma Mia!” and the script for the next film.

Johan Renck, the creative director of the upcoming concerts, guest on another episode, all of which will air at 3:00 p.m. Eastern this week and can be streamed afterward.

Ulvaeus is the latest of many music stars to host a show on the service. Others include Elton John, The Weeknd, J Balvin and Shania Twain.

“I was supposed to be in Miami recording my album. My whole schedule is based on me being able to take my kids to school, being there for them, making sure I’m in their life is the whole point…” Kanye continued.

Kanye added that it was Kylie who let him into the property after security guards tried to stop him from entering.

Although Kanye was in better spirits after arriving at the party, a source said The sun that things were so tense that they had to stay “on opposite sides” of the party.

Investor Oliver Omidvar is entering the residential development space with plans for a $ 50 million, 120-unit apartment complex in downtown Los Angeles, the Real Deal has learned.

Omidvar, who also runs a mortgage lender called Hope & Co. Business Capital, takes on a different role for an assemblage at 2710-2804 West Florence Avenue. He plans to build a 150,000 square foot apartment complex with commercial space for a music studio on the ground floor.

Omidvar closed the site on December 31. He paid $ 2.5 million for the set, which includes three stand-alone single-tenant buildings as well as a multi-tenant property with six units. The structures are located on a land area of 35,000 square feet.

“The area is very promising,” said Omidvar, noting the site’s proximity to the SoFi Stadium and the Forum, both in neighboring Inglewood.

One of the tenants of the existing property is RZN Recording Studio, which is located at 2724 West Florence Avenue. Omidvar said he was negotiating to move the studio to the 25,000 square foot commercial space planned for the new building.

The project will be in the pipeline for a relatively long period of time, even with the plans currently underway. The property leases last for another five years. Omidvar said he plans to start construction only when the leases expire. Before that, the project will go through the authorization process.

Omidvar’s real estate portfolio mainly consists of value-added projects. He said West Florence Avenue would be the first of its size. It also owns the Los Angeles outpost of Miami restaurant Barton G at 861 North La Cienega Boulevard and the location of Crosspointe Church at 1300 North Kellogg Drive in Anaheim.
