“I was mistaken for Liam outside Abbey Road studios”

Noel Gallagher has revealed how he was mistaken for his brother Liam as he strolled outside London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios.

The Oasis icon explained how the moment of mistaken identity came as he began recording the sequel to the hit ‘Who Built The Moon?’ of 2017.

“I’ve been in the studio before,” Noel told the press association“I was in Abbey Road for two weeks, and I walked past this zebra crossing every day to be recognized.

“Tourists walked barefoot. Still no one stopped. I was stopped once by a black cab driver who came by and said ‘How are you, Liam?’

Noel, who won Best Solo Artist and Outstanding Contribution to Music awards at the Q Awards, also admitted that he now loves making music more than ever.

“When you are young, everything is in front of you. Now, with some time behind me, it’s different,” he admitted.

“How many records are you going to do? When you’re in the studio, you have to give it your all. I love him. I love him now more than ever before.

Earlier this year, Noel teased that he might actually have two albums of new material coming out.

“I have a whole songbook, I write all the time so I have a lot of material,” he said. “I’m going to do another record with David that way but the last one took four years so I’ll probably have to do another one on the side in the more traditional sense.”

Speaking to NME, he suggested some of his new tracks sound like ‘The Police Meets The Cure’.

Meanwhile, Noel recently courted controversy by claiming he would reform Oasis to prevent ‘mad’ Jeremy Corbyn from becoming Prime Minister.

Asked by TalkSport if he would rather reunite Oasis or see Corbyn elected, Gallagher replied: “I should reunite the group, I think. I don’t want this madman running the country.

It comes after Gallagher previously said ‘Fuck Jeremy Corbyn – he’s a communist’ but added he could never vote Conservative ‘because an invisible force field would prevent me from putting on my vote in the ballot box”.
