CAG certifies provenance of Abbey Road Studios recordings

Collectibles Authentication Guarantee (ACG®) has certified the provenance of the original master recordings made by 18 world-renowned artists to Abbey Road Studiosplace made famous by Beatles and their iconic photograph crossing Abbey Road. The recordings were organized by Michael Glenona Texas entrepreneur residing in Londonfor a television project called Live from Abbey Road.

On June 20, these video and audio recordings, which include the songs as well as hours of never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage and interviews, will be sold by Spink, a global auction house founded in London in 1666. Each lot includes a USB stick, vinyl dubplate, external hard drive and photos, as well as a certificate of authenticity signed by Michael Gleason. Each Certificate of Authenticity has been encapsulated in a protective CAG carrier with a descriptive label and a unique certification number.

The 18 artists include: Alanis Morissette; Anna Calvi; Beady Eye (with Liam Gallagher); Blondie, Django Django; Ed Sheeran, elbow; friendly fire; the gypsy kings; Jamiroquai; Mikhail; Natasha Bedingfield; Randy Crawford and Joe Sample; Seal; The Good the Bad & the Queen (with Damon Albarn); The killers; The Kooks (2011 session) and Two Door Cinema Club.
